Staying at Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay, you can't miss the classic Peacock Alley afternoon tea! I originally booked here, but the waiter recommended Ledoux upstairs. When I came up, it was more suitable for taking photos. The overall feeling was very dreamy and girly! The interior design of Ledoux Tea Room pays tribute to the French pastry shops of the 1920s. The design team uses painted wooden wall panels, soft-toned marble and soft-style furniture, and incorporates light-colored hand-woven carpets, pink series flowers, low-saturation leather seats and light champagne-colored lighting elements to add a soft texture to the area, and better pave the background for cakes, snacks and desserts. The huge banyan tree with a metallic style stood tall and filled the entire lobby. This is another imagination of Banyan Tree. On both sides are huge red and blue screens. I call it "A Song of Ice and Fire". 🏨 Location Located in the center of Doha, it is very close to Souq Waqif and the Museum of Islamic Art, a 10-minute drive away. The commercial center is downstairs, which is convenient for shopping and eating. The central open space and the roof are lush with green plants, like an urban oasis. 🛏 Room type Although the lobby is metal and punk, the room is as comfortable as ever! The suite I stayed in has a huge living room with a full set of sofas, a dining table and a desk. The living room also has a separate bathroom, a 270-degree city view, and good lighting. When I went there, it was Ramadan, and not all restaurants were open. Saffron, the Shangfang restaurant on the 24th floor, must be tried❗️ Very authentic Thai food, Asian stomach ecstasy. There is also a Ramadan set meal during Ramadan, which is 120QAR per person, which is great value. During Ramadan, breakfast is at the Italian restaurant on the 27th floor, which has a 360-degree view of Doha. It feels really great to have breakfast while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
